This Remake Hits Different I loved the original trilogy of this movie. I was even invited to the Premier of the third installment, so this franchise has a real place in my heart. I didn’t rewatch the original movie beforehand so I had fresh eyes and mind for the story. I didn’t want to ...
‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Review: I’m Not Angry Just Disappointed
Was This A Filler Film? This sounds kind of harsh, but it’s also how I feel. The movie has got on a really bad time slot within the movie calendar. It’s also the first (proper) Marvel movie after the success of Deadpool and Wolverine. Yes, I’m prepared. I’m pretending like Kraven didn’t ...
‘Gladiator II’ Review: Fails To Win The Crowd
All About The Boys There’s no surprise that this sequel has been filled with a high caliber of cast which gives us a reason to watch it, and mainly secures the films characters with high class performances. However, a film shouldn’t rely on the actors alone. Gladiator II despite having ...
‘Venom: The Last Dance’ Review: Goodbye…I Guess
A Movie Of Two Halves As straight forward as I can be, the beginning sucked. It was really slow, boring and didn’t give much of anything to keep me intrigued. However, the ending of this movie was giving me everything! Action scenes, surprisingly emotional and an ending to be proud of. ...
‘The Crow’ Review: A Remake, Remade Wrong
Right Ingredients Wrong Recipe I was quite enthusiastic to see the remake of “The Crow”. I watched it when I was younger and recently watched it since and could see all the potential that a remake could bring to this movie. However, I left disappointed. Even with a great actor, ...
‘Borderlands’ Review: It’s on the border of Bad and Terrible
The Good, the "Bad" and the Utterly Terrible Jamie Lee Curtis was asked in an interview recently "which Marvel phase they're in?" and her answer was "bad". She has apologized for her comment and said she'll "do better". This is a pretty silly comment to make about a franchise that has ...

End of the world movies are an off genre to enjoy but I can honestly say...I love them! The suspense, the drama, the thrill and the incredible CGI (well most of them)...what's not to love? Apocalypse movies require some incredible imagination, even if it's on the dark side. It's not a subject ...

KINGSMAN 2: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE – GOOD BUT NOT GREAT
On Monday, Kentucky Tourism invited me to the Premiere Screening of Kingsman 2: The Golden Circle at 20th Century Fox in London! Before heading down to the screening, we took a cheeky stop by Leicester Square to see the stars walk on the red carpet. All the stars turned up for the event, including ...

Last Saturday, I attended the Fright Fest Premiere of Eat Local at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square, London. This is Jason Flemyng's directing debut. Not only only did I watch the film but I also got to attend the Director's Q&A at the Groucho Club in their private suite. I've been ...
