It’s post Valentine’s Day but it doesn’t mean the romance stop there. No. no. no. We have some of the Best Dating Shows on UK TV with plenty of romantic drool, flirting antics and dating disasters to enjoy right there on our TV screens. These shows are not just great to watch but show different ways to date and meet people.Â
I’m a single girl living in London, dating can be repetitive, boring and let’s face it…we don’t pick our dates very well. Finding the perfect match for yourself is becoming more and more difficult. Dating apps aren’t getting results, no ones going out anymore and all the good ones are being swooped up.Â
Instead of watching these Dating TV Shows…why not be on one? Let the dating experts and TV wizards do all the work for you. Check out all these shows, see which Dating show is more for you and APPLY! See you on TV!

TAKE ME OUT
Are you picky, slightly judgey and easily turned off? Take me Out could be the show for you. Let the Love Lift bring you the boys and let Paddy help you score a date to Fernandos. Guys, take your pick of 30 lovely single ladies! You better like a bit of competition though as a the fight for a date is fierce and keeping your date when your in Fernando’s is even harder.Â

LOVE ISLAND
Got a great bikini body? Abs? Terrible at dating? Cheesy catch phrases? This is the show for you. Love Island has a great success rate…when you’re in the villa. When you leave the luxury house and go back to normality (and no job), that’s when couples start to fall apart. However, Cara and Nathan who won series 2 are still together and have a little baby now to complete the family.Â

NAKED ATTRACTION
OK. This show isn’t for me but it might be for you? I could say “like naked people” but that’s a bit much. However, that’s what your going to get. All your potential dates revealing themselves in their full glory. WOW!

THE UNDATEABLES
This show is one that caters for all. It has a beautiful diverse group of daters which shows how hard and challenging dating can be for people with physical conditions, learning disabilities, torettes and much more. Sending couples on bling dates, match making events and speed dating. It’s lovely to see that there’s not just someone out there for everyone but there’s a show out their for everyone too.Â

MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT
Personally, I could never do this one. Meeting your date….at the end of the aisle?! Marrying a stranger! Could you? If you put your faith in the match making process and think a show could find your potential life partner, then give is a go? You never know…

STREET MATE
Our Scarlett has taken over the classic Street Mate, made famous by Davina McCall. I constantly see fit guys in the street but could never go up to them and ask them on a date. Maybe I should apply? In a modern world with people glued to their phones, this is the perfect job for loud and witty Scarlett. Cupid of the north. Would you trust Scarlett to land you a date?

CELEBS GO DATING
It’s the show everyone is talking about but would you date them? You can date a “celebrity” on this show. Yes, I used celebrity loosely on most of them but I would date Sam Thompson in a heart beat! Harry Potter quotes and Dinosaur impressions? It’s a match made in heaven!Â

DINNER DATE
A home cooked meal made for you 3 nights back to back by blind dates. Would you trust someone you haven’t even met to cook for you? I would but that’s just because I can’t cook myself. I would find this hard because you have to judge the potential dates of the menus they are going to serve you. The fact any of them can cook is a great start for me.Â

EX ON THE BEACH
Another show for the toned and pretty. Want to work on that tan and potentially make your way to being a reality star? The main thing about this show is that the contestants “don’t know” they’re on the show till they walk onto the beach. Most of the contestants (who don’t figure it out before hand) don’t want to be on a show with their ex. Ex’s are ex’s for a reason. If you want to be on this show then you need to keep an eye out for CRYPTIC casting advertisements via MTV.

FIRST DATES
This is a show I totally would do and I’ve applied for twice but no luck or matches for me yet. First Dates matchmaking TV wizards I would say get it right 90% of the time. Even if the dates don’t hit it off, they are pretty good matches. This is a blind date I would trust them to get right. They’ve even had marriages and babies from the show. Amazing!

GO BIG OR GO HOME!
THE BACHELOR
The most famous dating show in the world is The Bachelor. The king of all dating shows. Unfortunately for us in the UK, it’s in the US. Of course, it is. If you want to get one this show, ya’ll have to be American. To be honest, this show isn’t for me. 20 girls fighting over one guy, please.Â

ARE YOU THE ONE?
This is my favourite Dating TV show and I am dying for this to come to the UK. The whole concept and psychological aspect of the show is so good. Matchmakers pick 10 guys and 10 girls. Somehow out of all the applicants that applied they have found their perfect match and they are standing right in front of them. They just have to figure out which one! They get challenges to go on dates and couples get the chance to go into the tooth booth which let’s them know if they are a “No Match” or a “Perfect Match“. If they get all the couples right, they win 1 million dollars between them. Win together or lose together. It’s so good. I can’t big this show up enough. MTV we need a UK version of this show and get me on it!!!
